THE BAND BASICALLY BELONGS TO DELHI FORMED IN 2009 BY THE NAME OF "BLITHE SOULS", STARTED BY JONY, ABHI AND SAURAV. AT THE INITIAL STAGE USED TO JAM TOGETHER JONY AS A VOCALIST, ABHI – BASSIST AND SAURAV – GUITARIST. AFTER FEW MONTHS AKASH ( DRUMMER) JOINED THE BAND. IN THE MID OF 2009 RAVI CAME INTO THE BAND AS A GUITARIST AND SUPPORT VOCALIST AND PARTICIPATED IN MANY EVENTS BY PLAYING GRUNGE ROCK INFLUENCED BY NIRVANA.
1833 AD brings forth a fresh approach to Black Metal digressing from the traditional abrasive sound, concocting a mixture of extreme tremolo picking riffs and mellow melodic hooks and solos. The band bring together their individual playing styles to create an atmosphere of sorrow and hatred which do justice to the lyrical themes of the band.

We are a band that mainly plays Metal/Hard Rock. While we complete schooling, we are open to participating in shows/competitions anywhere in and around Jaipur.
The band was founded when we were all in our seventh grades, so basically, there is not much of a story behind the name.
