Mumbai based alternative/post grunge band "BLAKC" is all set to release its 2nd studio album 'MOTHERLAND'. The album will be launched at Blue Frog (Mumbai) on 3rd June.
The album was recorded at Yashraj studios, mixed by Keshav Dharr (Skyharbor), mixed & produced by Shantanu Hudlikar (Yashraj Raj studios) & Mastered by Chris Athens (AC/DC, Coldplay, Sean Paul, Chris Brown, Jason Mraz, Johnny Cash..etc) at Sterling Studios, New York.

Demonic Resurrection frontman Demonstealer has launched a new old school heavy metal supergroup ‘Hellwind’. The band features Akshay Deodhar (Spook) on vocals, Rajarshi Bhattacharyya (ex-Workshop) and Kiron Kumar (ex-Colossus) on guitars, Aditya Kadam (Workshop, Funk The System) with Demonstealer taking over the drummers throne.
Bangalore based Experimental/Progressive Metal act Cheisrah released their latest single titled "To The Subliminal" from their upcoming debut album on the band's official Souncloud page. The track is available for free download as well. The band had recently unveiled their fresh new logo and a bunch of crisp new band photographs. Since their inception in May 2011 and after a successful EP release last year, the band has been quite active on the gig scene in and around Bangalore as they have been participating in college shows/competitions and a few pub shows off late.
Guwahati based Alternative Metal band "Lucid Recess" has released their new single and video 'Changes Are Sold'.
The song is the OST of 2nd Guwahati International Short Film Festival, 2012 and belongs to their upcoming album which is to be released later this year.
Vocalist Amitabh Barooa comments: “Changes are sold is about how people rarely practice what they preach."
